Top 20 XBox 360 Games

If you like incredible Role Playing Games with a lot of first person action like Oblivion, Bethesda has done it again with Fallout 3. This game has an interesting story, unmatched graphics, rich sound effects, and several addicting hours of game play. Fallout 3 is the second Bethesda game in our top 4 Xbox 360 games list, and we have given it a rating of 9.8.
This game is set in the post-apocalyptic Washington DC with a sort of 1940s look and feel. You start the game as a baby and choose your base character build at the first of the game before escaping from an underground futuristic village shelter called Vault 101 to the barren surface to search for your father. This is where the fascinating story begins…
Bethesda has corrected several of the small glitches that Oblivion had, but has a few very small problems that have remained. There are a few frame rate drops in the heavier action graphic scenes, and the camera view sometimes points in an unfavorable direction. But the main problem that we cannot go without commenting on is that this game, like Oblivion, is only for one player. Without this one problem, both games would have gotten a perfect 10.
Again like Oblivion, the problems in Fallout 3 pale in comparison to the groundbreaking freshness and awesome game play that the game has to offer. The sun rises and sets, and the grim outdoor visuals and sounds in the game are amazing. There is a huge living breathing world to explore giving around 30 hours of main story play, and several days worth of very detailed side missions to complete.
There are several ways to solve each main problem in the game, and each choice that you make will affect the moral build of your character as well as your in-game reputation. The game will react magnificently to each decision that you make, and there are several detailed NPC interactions that will make you feel as though you are affecting real life situations.
The awesome combat sequences and unique first person shooter interface will make the game even attractive to the hardcore kill-fest gamers. The game action simply feels right as you battle against everything from intelligent human guards to mutated outdoor beasts. One element of combat that we particularly liked was the ability to freeze battle in order to focus your fire power on different parts of the enemy’s body. Wound their legs to slow them down, target their arms in an attempt to disarm them, or finish them with a brain-popping headshot.
As in Oblivion, you can build your character in several different ways, and the AI will react to you with very different outcomes throughout the game. This means that after you enjoy several days of game play with one character build, you will enjoy several more days of new outcomes with your second and third characters. Fallout 3 is one of our top 4 “must own” games because it definitely has a lot of bang for the buck. Don’t pay retail for the game. You can get this game at less than half price online as you can see in the deals we found below:
